[08-02-2026] Riverside County, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With Vehicle in Jurupa Valley

A motorcyclist was injured in a collision involving a blue Mazda sedan in Jurupa Valley early Sunday morning, August 2, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 3 a.m. on eastbound State Route 60 just west of Pyrite Street.

CHP officers reported that the rider came to rest against the center divider while the motorcycle was scattered in pieces across multiple lanes. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of a serious leg injury.

Authorities have not released the rider’s identity or indicated whether the Mazda driver was cited or arrested.

The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
