[08-04-2022] Santa Cruz County, CA – A 24-year-old Woman Killed and a 4-year-old Child was Critically Injured in a Pedestrian Accident on River Street

A 24-year-old woman died, and a 4-year-old child sustained severe injuries after being fatally hit by a passing vehicle on River Street on Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 12:45 a.m. on Highway 1 at River Street.

The child was treated at a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.
