[08-05-2022] Riverside County, CA – Four Persons Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Temescal Valley

Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving three cars on Interstate 15 in Temescal Valley on Friday, August 05, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. on northbound I-15, just south of Temescal Canyon Road.

The agency reported a GMC Denali SUV and two pickup trucks colliding in the fast lane, but no other information was released.

Several Corona Fire Department engine teams and a Riverside County Fire Department unit were dispatched to the scene and discovered a person in the SUV trapped inside the car.

The victim, whose name was not revealed, was freed after a 20-minute cut-and-rescue operation.

According to the officers, the victims were taken to Riverside Community Hospital to be treated for mild injuries.

CHP officers relocated the automobiles to the center barrier, reopening the No. 1 lane within 30 minutes following the crash.
