[08-05-2023] 2 People Hospitalized After Three-Vehicle Head-On Collision Involving DUI Driver in CutlerTwo people were hospitalized following a DUI three-vehicle collision in Cutler, Tulare County, on Saturday evening, August 5, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Highway 63 near Avenue 392, down the street from Lovell Continuation School, just before 11:30 p.m.

A suspected DUI driver was in the highway’s northbound lanes when he crossed over into the opposite side and crashed head-on with two vehicles.

A woman in the second vehicle sustained major injuries, while the suspected DUI driver also suffered major injuries. They were both taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the person in the first vehicle was unharmed, and both the woman and the suspect were expected to live through the ordeal.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved, pending an investigation.
