[08-05-2023] Yuba County, CA – Female Motorcyclist Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Marysville

A female motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Marysville on Saturday afternoon, August 5, 2023.

The Marysville Police Department responded to the accident around 2:47 p.m. on Highway 20 and East 22nd Street.

As an SUV turned left onto East 22nd Street from Highway 20, it struck a motorcyclist driving southwest on Highway 20.

The victim was identified as 60-year-old Nora K. from Yuba County foothills. The medical staff pronounced her dead on the scene.

No information was released about the SUV driver’s identity or its occupants. The incident did not result in any other injuries.

There was no suspicion of impairment involved in the crash, which is still under investigation.
