[08-08-2023] 2 Pedestrians & 1 Driver Injured Following Solo-Vehicle Crash in Palm SpringsTwo pedestrians and a driver were injured after a solo-vehicle crash in Palm Springs on Tuesday afternoon, August 8, 2023.

According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the incident occurred on the 100 block of East Tahquitz Way, just past North Indian Canyon Drive, at around 4:15 p.m.

Authorities reported that the vehicle was traveling down the road when the driver lost control and crashed into some poles on the sidewalk, causing debris from the vehicle to hit two pedestrians.

Both pedestrians sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene, while the driver was transported to a nearby hospital with a significant laceration.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved, pending an investigation.
