[08-08-2025] Riverside County, CA – Bicyclist Dies In Collision with Vehicle at Lincoln Ave. and Soboba St. in Hemet

A bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Soboba Street in Hemet died Sunday, August 10, 2025, after two days of treatment at a local hospital.

Hemet Police Communications Center received a 911 call on Friday, August 8, 2025, at approximately 6:08 p.m., reporting that a bicyclist had been struck by a vehicle.

Officers arrived on the scene to find the bicyclist receiving medical treatment for moderate injuries and immediately transported him to a local hospital.

The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation. Based on the initial investigation, the victim collided with a vehicle traveling north on Soboba Street while he was riding east on Lincoln Avenue.

The bicyclist succumbed to his injuries on August 10, 2025.

Driving under the influence does not appear to be a factor in the collision, and the investigation is ongoing.
