An individual was hospitalized after a head-on collision with a wrong-way driver fleeing from authorities along inbound Highway 160 in Sacramento early Wednesday morning, August 09, 2023.
The California Highway Patrol stated the incident involving two pickups and another vehicle occurred around 5:30 a.m. inbound Highway 160 on the bridge over the American River.
The driver responsible for the head-on collision used a stolen pickup truck and is now in custody. The name of the perpetrator was not mentioned.
An individual was immediately rushed to the hospital. The identity and condition of the patient was not mentioned.
No details were given regarding the total number of people involved and whether there were other injuries.
