[08-11-2022] San Diego County, CA – Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Escondido

According to the authorities, a vehicle fatally struck a bicyclist at an Escondido intersection Thursday, August 11, 2022.

According to the Escondido Police Department, the fatal collision occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. at North Broadway and El Norte Parkway.

According to EPD Sgt. Steve Braucht, the bicyclist, a man whose name was not immediately available, passed away at the scene of the accident after being involved in the collision.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
