[08-12-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Baldwin Park

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Baldwin Park on Friday, August 12, 2022.

Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call regarding a crash between a car and a pedestrian at about 11:33 p.m. on Olive Street and Maine Avenue.

Officers found one victim unresponsive in the lanes upon arrival. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by LACoFD.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene, but his condition was unknown.

The cause of the accident was not yet determined.

The intersection of Olive and Maine was closed for an unknown period due to the investigation.
