According to the Sacramento Police Department, two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash involving an ambulance on Capital Freeway Friday night, August 12, 2022.
The crash occurred at 11:45 p.m. on the 4200 block of Auburn Boulevard in the Del Paso Park neighborhood of the city, near the on-ramp to the Capital City Freeway and Interstate 80.
According to the police, the ambulance was taking a patient to the hospital at the time.
Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision, according to the police. They were taken to the nearest hospital.
The police were unable to provide information about the ambulance or the car it collided with because they say the circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
