[08-12-2022] Sacramento County CA – Unidentified Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Jibboom Street

According to the Sacramento Police Department, a man died after being struck by a vehicle at a Sacramento intersection late Friday, August 12, 2022.

The crash occurred at 9:57 p.m. at Jibboom Street and Railyards Boulevard.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the man was taken to an unnamed hospital for treatment of his serious injuries and later pronounced dead.

There was no additional information given about the driver or the deceased.

The driver showed no signs of intoxication, according to the officers.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
