[08-12-2023] Two People Hospitalized Following Attempted Hit-and-Run Collision Involving Three Vehicles in CoachellaTwo people were hospitalized following a DUI and attempted hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles in Coachella on Saturday evening, August 12. 2023.

The local authorities responded to the crash around 9:00 p.m. to the area of Avenue 48 and Grapefruit Boulevard.

The cause of the crash remains unknown. Witnesses to the crash detained a driver attempting to flee the scene. Two people were found with unknown injuries and taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

There was no information on the people involved in the crash.

Investigations are still underway, but the authorities said DUI could be involved.
