An adult and a child were hospitalized after a pedestrian collision in northwest Fresno on Wednesday night, August 13, 2025.
According to Fresno police, the incident occurred just after 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ashcroft and Marks avenues.
Officers said the adult and child were crossing the road when the adult was struck by a vehicle. Medical aid was provided before the adult was transported to a hospital for further treatment. Their condition is unknown.
The child was not hit by the vehicle but was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police said the pair was not in a crosswalk at the time. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
