[08-15-2022] Riverside County, CA - Fatal DUI Two-Vehicle Collision Kills One in CoronaAccording to the California Highway Patrol, a DUI two-vehicle collision killed at least one passenger in Corona Monday, August 15, 2022.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at 2:25 a.m. in Corona, Riverside County.

There were two wrecked cars, a Lexus and a Dodge truck, with the passenger in the truck unresponsive and the airbags deployed in the truck. There was no one else at the scene.

The Chino Police Department and Corona Fire Department provided air support while the CHP conducted a search after arriving.

It is believed that both drivers fled the collision scene because neither could be found.

Beer bottles were outside the Lexus, so it seems that alcohol played a role at this point.
