According to the authorities, a multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig resulted in injuries and blocked several lanes of southbound Interstate 680 in Martinez Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision transpired around 7:45 a.m. just north of Arthur Road.
Following a rear-end collision, the big rig was struck by the other car, which then struck the median.
There were some minor injuries, according to the CHP. A hole in the rig’s fuel tank caused 80 gallons of diesel to spill out.
