[08-17-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Driver Injured and Extricated from Two-Vehicle Crash into Cement TruckAccording to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, one person was injured and trapped in a vehicle after a two-vehicle collision with a cement truck in Lancaster Tuesday morning, August 16, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at approximately 9:06 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue K and 12th Street West in the city of Lancaster.

Deputies discovered a car and a cement truck in collision when they arrived. When they arrived on the scene, firefighters from Station 134 used the Jaws of Life to extract the driver from the badly damaged sedan.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition is unknown.

The unharmed cement truck driver is seen helping the emergency personnel separate the truck from the car.

Neither the causes of collisions nor any other information are currently known. Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
