[08-19-2022] Kern County, CA - One Woman Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash in BakersfieldAccording to the police, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident after getting struck by a car in Bakersfield on Friday morning, August 19, 2022.

The police were called to the scene around 5:16 a.m. at California Avenue and N Street.

The police reported that the driver stayed at the scene and that neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to have played a role.

The identity of the woman has not been disclosed.
