A woman was injured after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night in Apple Valley in San Bernardino County on August 19, 2023.
The Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the incident near the juncture of Santa Rosa and Kiowa roads at around 7:08 p.m.
The collision that occurred on the dirt road south of Van Dusen Road was also attended to by American Medical Response, Cal Fire, and the California Highway Patrol.
A gray four-door Honda Civic and a silver four-door Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck carrying a trailer with a Yamaha side-by-side have crashed head-on at the site.
The injured woman, the only occupant of the Honda Civic, was taken to a trauma center.
The two male passengers of the Silverado were responsive and fully alert. After on-site medical examinations, they were released at the scene.
