A man lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana on Sunday morning, August 20, 2023.

The Santa Ana Police Department received reports about a pedestrian incident on West First Street, in the 900 block, around 5:00 a.m.

According to the report, the man was crossing the street when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.

Despite being taken to a hospital, the man was pronounced dead. The identity of the pedestrian remains undisclosed.
