Car Crash Statistics
The number of people killed in single-car accidents in California is shockingly high each year.
It has been found that single-vehicle accidents account for 62% of California car accidents’ fatalities, as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported. California drivers must be alert to several hazards that could present themselves at any time.
Solo-vehicle collisions can be caused by a wide variety of factors. Driving too fast or making sharp turns on a slippery road can cause an off-the-road accident or a runaway vehicle. There could be debris on the side of the road, such as a large branch or other items that fell off the back of the truck. Additionally, this may contribute to unsafe driving conditions.
If you were in a single-car accident and another driver was at fault, you may not be able to collect damages due to the terms of your insurance policy’s comprehensive coverage plan.
