[08-22-2022] Kern County, CA – Two Police Officers Injured in Car Crash in Bakersfield

According to the officials, two Bakersfield Police officers were injured after attempting to stop a car that had been reported stolen in the 300 block of South Union Avenue on Monday, August 22, 2022.

The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 300 block of South Union Avenue.

According to the police, an officer lost control of the patrol car at the highway’s earthbound onramp and slammed into a tree. It was necessary to get both officers out of the vehicle.

One of the officers sustained a moderate injury, while another officer suffered a minor injury.
