[08-24-2022] San Diego County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash in Chula Vista Injures At Least One Person

At least one person sustained serious injuries in a collision involving several vehicles, including one that overturned in Chula Vista on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

The crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Interstate 5, close to E Street.

The California Highway Patrol reported that a silver Honda CRV was rear-ended, causing at least four vehicles to collide.

Although the CHP did not specify the type of injuries, they did state that one person had major injuries.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
