[08-25-2023] Rushing Road Solo Car Crash Injures Six People, One Extricated From WreckageSix people were injured, one extricated from wreckage after their car crash in Tuolumne County on Friday morning, August 25, 2023.

The local authorities responded to the crash around 11:35 a.m. on Highway 108/120 and Rushing Road.

Officials stated an overturned vehicle and six patients were found at the scene. During a 25-minute operation, emergency crews freed one of the victims who was trapped from the wreckage.

PHI Med 41 and Calstar 13 flew two patients while ground ambulances were used to bring four other patients to area hospitals for treatment.

There was no disclosure of their identities.

It is currently being investigated what caused the crash.
