According to the authorities, a 45-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed by a police officer while responding to a complaint in a Southern California beach hamlet on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 22-year-old Huntington Beach police officer was approximately a block away from Sunset Beach when he collided with the pedestrian.
According to officials, the pedestrian was transported to a hospital but eventually died.
Th epedestrian’s identity was not immediately disclosed.
According to police, the officer was not wounded in the accident. There was no arrest made.
