[08-30-2023] Santa Barbara County, CA – 3 People Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision in Santa Maria

Three people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in Santa Maria on Wednesday night, August 30, 2023.

According to the Santa Maria Police Department, the incident occurred on Railroad Ave and Taylor Street shortly before 11:30 p.m.

The authorities were responding to a traffic collision report involving two vehicles. Officers at the scene found one person who had been ejected from a vehicle and two others inside the vehicles.

Santa Maria Fire Department personnel helped assess and transport the victims to nearby hospitals via American Medical Response ambulance.

No further information was released regarding the severity of the victim’s injuries and identities, pending an investigation.
