[08-31-2023] Fresno County, CA – Two People Hospitalized Following Single-Vehicle Crash in Clovis

Two people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in Clovis early Thursday morning, August 31, 2023.

According to the Clovis Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Larkin and Gettysburg.

Authorities stated that the truck driver veered off the road, struck a tree, and came to rest on its side while approaching Larkin. Clovis Police and firefighters had to pull one of the people inside out of the truck.

According to officials, the driver and his passenger were transported to a hospital. Their conditions have not been disclosed, but according to police, the woman was conscious and talking.

No further details were released regarding the crash, and it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
