[09-03-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed, Four Injured After Tesla Struck Multiple Pedestrians in Fairfax

A woman was killed, and four other people sustained injuries after a Tesla struck multiple pedestrians in a shopping center parking lot in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, September 3, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the Gilmore Station shopping center near Third Street and Fairfax Avenue.

Authorities said a Tesla driven by a 91-year-old woman crashed into a security stand in the parking lot shared by several businesses.

A woman in her 30s was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old man suffered serious injuries, while two women, ages 30 and 57, sustained minor injuries. The driver was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the woman who died. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
