According to the authorities, a car struck and killed a 7-year-old kid in Santa Ana on Monday, September 5, 2022.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Rosita Street, north of 7th Street.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the boy was crossing when he was hit by a southbound car.
They found the boy on the road and took him to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Investigators believed that no drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
The crash is to be further investigated.
