[09-06-2022] Five Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash in ChinoAccording to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), five individuals were injured after a four-vehicle crash between East End Avenue and Riverside Drive on Tuesday afternoon, September 06, 2022.

The collision happened at approximately 12:07 p.m. on the north side of Riverside.

According to Officer Stephen Rawls of the CHP Rancho Cucamonga office, It appears to have been caused by a 40-year-old female driving a GMC Yukon that ran a red light and collided with the other cars.

A BMW X5, a white Prius, and a gray Prius were also involved. Debris was strewn across East End, where the four automobiles came to a stop.

Officer Rawls stated Thursday morning that he did not have any other information concerning the persons involved in the crash.

The investigation is still ongoing.
