[09-09-2022] Santa Barbara County, CA - Three People were Hurt After a Suspected DUI Accident on Highway 101According to the local authorities, three people were hurt after a suspected DUI crash early on Highway 101 on Friday, September 9, 2022.

According to fire Battalion Chief Mike DePonce, the one-vehicle accident happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Castillo Street underpass for Highway 101.

They discovered a small SUV that had crashed into a wall and suffered significant front-end damage.

Three American Medical Response ambulances that arrived at the scene took all three men to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital but did not fully disclose their conditions.

According to Ragsdale, Ray Timothy O., 25, of Santa Barbara, the driver, was detained on suspicion of felony drunken driving causing injury.

Ragsdale added that the bail amount was set at $100,000 when he was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail.

Oberholtzer was still being held on Friday afternoon.

The Police Department was still looking into the collision.
