According to the California Highway Patrol, an unidentified pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on the 101 north highway Saturday, September 10, 2022.
The crash occurred Saturday afternoon on US-101 north highway in San Luis Obispo.
The authorities have a strong suspicion that the victim was attempting to cross the lanes of US-101 north highway when they were struck by a Toyota Prius traveling at a speed of 70 miles per hour.
When CHP SLO units arrived at the scene, they discovered that the pedestrian had passed away due to the severe injuries they had sustained in the accident. The pedestrian’s body was transported to the San Luis Obispo County Coroner’s Office.
