A man riding a bicycle was struck and seriously injured after a hit-and-run accident in Newport Beach on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
The collision happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Jamboree Road, close to Fletcher Jones Motorcars.
A watch commander with the Newport Beach Police Department described the car as a white sedan with a cracked windshield and added that the cyclist’s condition was not in good condition.
The suspect’s vehicle was traveling southbound on Jamboree when the accident happened.
At Eastbluff Drive and University Avenue, Jamboree Road’s southbound lanes are completely blocked.
