According to the authorities, a single-vehicle crash involving an SUV resulted in a mother and her two young children being hospitalized in East County Thursday, September 15, 2022.
According to El Cajon Police, the crash occurred early Thursday morning in the 1300 block of East Madison Avenue.
The Volkswagen SUV was involved in the accident, rolled over, and collided with a power line, resulting in a power outage in the surrounding area.
A mother and her two children, ages 2 and 6, were taken to a nearby hospital after suffering injuries that are currently unknown.
According to a San Diego Gas & Electric report, the incident impacted at least 124 customers, and the company anticipates that power will be restored by noon on Thursday.
The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.
