Single-Vehicle Crash Statistics

Every year, a shockingly high number of people die in California when only one car is involved in an accident.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that accidents with just one car cause 62% of all traffic deaths in California. In California, you can be distracted by many things while driving.

Many different things can cause accidents with only one car. Accidents and runaways are more likely to happen when you drive fast and make sharp turns on wet roads. A big branch or something that fell off the back of a truck could be blocking the road.

Even if the one-car accident were caused by something other than your or another driver’s carelessness, your insurance policy coverage plan would probably make it hard for you to get compensation.

San Bernardino County Car Accident Lawyers

Most people who get hurt in car crashes can’t return to school or work. But it is still wrong to drive recklessly, even if it kills someone else. When someone dies in a car accident because another driver was not paying attention, “wrongful death” can be used to sue the other driver’s insurance company.

At depositions and trials, witnesses have to testify in front of a large crowd while remembering the losses and hurts from their past. People’s mental health can be damaged by problems with the law that aren’t solved.

When a car accident happens, the driver must be held responsible immediately. When carelessness kills a lot of people, people must be held accountable. Even though wrongful death lawsuits can be hard work, they can help the families of people who have lost loved ones. How people drive in the Golden State will change a lot because of this choice.
