According to the Petaluma Police Department, the crash occurred around 7:50 p.m. near the intersection of North McDowell Boulevard and Redwood Way.
Officers and Petaluma Fire Department paramedics found the injured pedestrian lying in the roadway. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Neither the driver nor the pedestrian was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
