[09-23-2026] Alameda County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Vehicle in Fremont

A motorcyclist was killed after a collision with a passenger vehicle in Fremont on Wednesday afternoon, September 23, 2026.

According to the Fremont Police Department, officers responded to the incident shortly before 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of Hastings and Keats streets.

Police said the motorcyclist was found unresponsive at the scene and transported to a nearby trauma center, where he later died. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured and cooperated with investigators.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Hastings Street when it collided with a passenger vehicle that was making a left turn from Keats Street onto southbound Hastings Street.

The Fremont Police Traffic Unit continues to investigate the collision.
