The CHP identified the rider as Ruben P., 59, of Turlock, who died after a motorcycle crash involving a car at Highway 108/120 Yosemite Junction on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

According to the CHP, he was traveling eastbound on a 2013 Harley Davidson when he attempted to make an “unsafe” pass around a Mercedes that was slowing down due to an approaching red traffic light.
