[09-29-2023] Sacramento County, CA – Bicyclist Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Citrus Heights

A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Citrus Heights on Friday afternoon, September 29, 2023.

According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, the fatal collision happened along San Juan Avenue.

The victim was found on the road with life-threatening injuries and was eventually declared dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the ongoing investigations. The authorities have dismissed the possibility of drug and alcohol use or speeding.
