[09-30-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – 20-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Vehicle in Victorville

A 20-year-old was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Victorville early Saturday morning, September 30, 2023.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred around 5:57 a.m. on the 14800 block of Palmdale Road, near the Hyundai Dealership, west of Del Gado Road.

The fire and police were dispatched to the scene and found the lifeless body of the pedestrian in the eastbound lanes of Palmdale Road. The victim was identified as a 20-year-old pedestrian named Trayshon L.

A white pickup truck parked on the right shoulder of the westbound lanes was also involved and sustained damage to the driver’s side headlight.

Palmdale Road was closed between El Evado and Borego Roads for a few hours while the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the Victorville Police Department for further investigation. It was reported that drugs were not involved in the incident.
