[10-02-1022] One Person Killed in a DUI Accident in BloomingtonOne person was killed in a fiery DUI crash on the 10 Freeway early Sunday morning, October 02, 2022.

The collision happened around 2:06 a.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Cedar Avenue in Bloomington.

The California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Station and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision with both vehicles on fire.

When CHP officers and firefighters arrived on the scene, they discovered two vehicles completely engulfed in flames, with one person trapped inside.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters.

At the time, it was unknown how many other victims were transported.

CHP arrested one person for Driving Under the Influence.

For an unknown period, the CHP issued a Sig Alert for the # 1 and 2 lanes of the eastbound 10 Freeway at Cedar Avenue.
