The 47-year-old man died and hurt two others after a head-on collision in Grass Valley on Sunday night, October 2, 2022.
According to the CHP, the accident happened around 10:20 p.m. on State Route 20, close to the Slacks Ravine overpass.
According to CHP, the driver allowed his 2004 Oldsmobile to cross the centerline, where it collided with a Jeep.
Medical personnel at the scene declared the man dead.
The two Jeep occupants were transported to nearby hospitals for moderate to significant wounds.
According to CHP, the Oldsmobile’s driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol may have played a role in the collision.
