One person was injured after a multi-car collision in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday morning, October 04, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at 7:57 a.m. along the northbound 101 Freeway in Newbury Park, north of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.

Initial investigations indicated that an on-duty detective was driving northbound in an unmarked sheriff’s vehicle when he was struck along with other unknown vehicles.
