A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital following a collision with a car in Central Fresno on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
The crash occurred Saturday night on Highway 41, close to the Shaw overpass.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash reportedly involved a motorcycle and a car.
When the police arrived, they discovered that the driver of the car struck the motorcyclist as he was turning left onto Shaw from Highway 41.
The motorcyclist was injured severely and taken to the hospital.
The car driver did not sustain any injuries.
Police say they do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a part in this crash and are still working on figuring out which driver was at fault.
