[10-08-2023] San Diego County, CA – Suspected DUI Driver Struck Parked Vehicles in Santee

A driver was tested on suspicion of DUI after a multi-vehicle crash in Santee early Saturday night, October 08, 2023.

Authorities reported the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the 9500 block of Mast Boulevard.

The collision began when an unknown vehicle crashed into at least four parked cars on Santee Street, sending one of them flying into a front yard.

According to witnesses, the driver apologized after getting out of the damaged vehicle. The driver claimed to have been cut off by another vehicle, which led to the collision.

An unidentified driver was transported to the hospital for a possible drunk driving evaluation. There’s no information on the other vehicle that cut-off the driver.
