[10-08-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Taken To Hospital After Suspected DUI Collision in Lancaster

One person was taken to a hospital, and another was taken into custody following a suspected DUI collision in Lancaster early Thursday morning, October 8, 2026.

The crash was reported at around 4:20 a.m. at the intersection of Tenth Street West and Avenue K.

According to a report from the scene, a man suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs was handcuffed and placed inside a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department SUV.

Another man was trapped inside one of the damaged vehicles and required extrication from the wreckage.

After being freed, the injured man was placed in an ambulance and transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not immediately available.

Additional information about the circumstances surrounding the collision and any formal charges was not immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
