10-10-2023] Monterey County, CA – 5-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Collision in Greenfield

A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision in Greenfield on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

According to the Greenfield Police Department, the incident occurred along the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue at an unknown time.

Authorities arrived at the scene and found four unspecified vehicles involved in the collision. The initial investigation revealed that the incident was caused by a driver making an illegal U-turn.

The unidentified boy sustained a head injury and was transported to a Bay Area hospital via airlift. Only the child’s injuries were reported, but it is still unclear whether other injuries were suffered in the crash or if the boy was a vehicle occupant or a pedestrian.
