[10-10-2023] 60-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured After Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Crash in Point Loma HeightsA 60-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Point Loma Heights, San Diego, on Tuesday night, October 10, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred at 9:59 p.m. on West Point Loma Boulevard, near Chapman Street.

An eastbound 2001 Buick Century sedan driven by a 67-year-old man struck the woman while she was crossing the boulevard. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with a fractured left ankle, facial fractures, and internal bleeding.

An investigation found no evidence of alcohol or drugs in the crash. Further details of the collision are not available at this time.
