[10-12-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – At Least One Person Killed, Others Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Collision in Rancho Cucamonga

At least one person was killed, and others were injured after a multi-vehicle collision in Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday morning, October 12, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Interstate 210, west of Milliken Avenue, at around 3:06 a.m.

A Honda Civic reportedly stalled sideways on the highway before being hit by two other vehicles, a Toyota Tacoma and a white van. The Toyota and Honda were crashed into the wall, while the white van was found 100 meters away.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the others sustained unspecified injuries and were transported to a local hospital via ambulance. The survivors’ condition is unknown.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until the next of kin is notified. An investigation is underway to determine what caused the crash and exactly how many were involved.
