According to the California Highway Patrol, a 26-year-old Modesto woman was struck by a big rig on Keyes Road south of Modesto Thursday, October 13, 2022
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m. Just east of Crows Landing Road is the westbound lane of Keyes.
Teyarra T., a resident of Modesto who is 26 years old, has been identified by the authorities. Teall was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The CHP reports that the pedestrian was killed when a Freightliner’s front end collided with them because the driver failed to see them in the dark.
The tractor-trailer driver, a man from Stockton, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
